I’d like to give a short statement of the key points related to the current status of StarShip Universe. You all deserve honesty about what’s going on, so I’m going to give you all of the information that I can at this stage. There is currently a dispute with respect to the ownership of StarShip Universe. We have tried in good faith to resolve this dispute over the past several months, but it appears that we may need to file a lawsuit. On legal advice, I can’t give much detail other than to say that ownership rights and other interests relating to Starship Universe currently need to be clarified. In light of the dispute, We were advised by our legal counsel to stop promoting StarShip Universe. On that advice, I asked the StarShip Admins to stop all promotion of SSU. There was a Tweet claiming that Asle and I did not hold the keys to the StarShip liquidity pool. In fact, we do hold the keys to the main liquidity pool. For full transparency, there is a small fraction of tokens that were put into the contract before Asle and I took ownership of StarShip, which nobody has access to. This is not the main liquidity pool and does not have material significance. To reiterate, Asle and I do hold the keys to the StarShip liquidity pool. We are also aware that certain individuals who knew about this dispute before today’s announcement have sold a large number of tokens. We are not making assumptions or accusations, but we are investigating this activity. It’s our duty to be forthcoming about everything—our duty to our community and anyone who decides to join our community in the future and who may be considering StarShip purchases. At this time, the future of StarShip Universe is unknown. In light of this uncertainty, Asle and I would love to offer refunds to those who’ve purchased plots of land in the Universe. Unfortunately, we cannot do this as we do not have control over the wallet. Despite that, we will do everything in our power to help make the situation right. With the information I am providing you with now, we understand if you no longer want to buy plots. There should currently be no StarShip Universe promotions. If you do see anything, please report it to me or one of the team members. Our first commitment is to the community and, although changing the format of this announcement at such short notice will disappoint some of you, we do so because we have StarShip’s best interest at heart.
